Good overall experience. Everyone communicated well outside of the sellers.

We have purchased 3 homes using Veterans United. Each experience was so easy! For our most recent purchase, Joel and his team were easy to work with. They were receptive to questions and explained the process well. The realtors that are a part of their network are awesome to work with. It is nice to work with people who live their Veterans.

Experience first-hand why 354,700 homeowners give us a perfect score!

Mr Andrew the real State agent from Remax, outstanding

The VU team was incredibly helpful, making sure that I was aware of any unresolved issue. They were proactive and made sure that a few very difficult issues were resolved with minimum disruption.

Lack of communication from my representatives. As first time homebuyers, we were not prepared or communicated with on what all we were reading. As it is not in typical wordage, it left a lot of confusion towards the end. When I did have a question, it took my representative a day or two or no answer at all at times. Good experience with Vetrans United as a whole. Poor communication.

The team has been working with us for nearly a year and helped tremendously during our refinance for a much better interest rate, fantastic people.

Highly professional, and customer oriented people. Their service is honest and reliable .

Everyone was very helpful and explained every question I had.

Unavailable, inattentive, uninformed, unprepared, and extremely unprofessional. By far The Worst Company I’ve ever done business with. Preapproved then had to be approved again. Had to submit the same forms over and over again. Loan officer went MIA midway through the process. No one knew her return date. Closing moved 3 times, took 2.5 hours to close, Title company was closed but forced to stay over, closing agents were literally in tears, ‘updated’ documents came through Not updated an hour and a half after the Title company closed. They tried to force us to drive 45 minutes to another Title location to finish closing. Refused to fund. Still had to return to Title company next day to sign documents missed by Lender. This ordeal was 40 days of infuriating chaos. Would Never use them again and would Never recommend.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Dawn,
I’m truly sorry to hear about the experience you had with your loan process. What you described sounds incredibly frustrating, and I can understand how upsetting it must have been to deal with repeated requests, delays, and so much confusion at closing. That’s not the level of communication, organization, or care we want for any of our borrowers.
I’d really like the chance to look into what happened and make sure your concerns are fully understood. If you’re open to connecting, please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. Our Client Advocate team is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time.

The VU team made us feel comfortable and appreciated throughout the whole process - from well before we were under contract, to the day we closed, and even beyond. They were quick to respond to all of our questions, no matter the complexity and we always felt like we were their number one priority. The team was highly skilled, efficient, and empathetic - it felt like we had all been friends for years! I appreciate all the hard work VU put in to get us where we needed to be on closing day and would recommend them 1000 times over!

Clint and the whole team was wonderful and very helpful

I am highly impressed with the customer service and attention to detail I received from Josh his team.
