The team was overall great. Even from being in different parts of the world, everything was simple and stress free

I loved my first experience with Veterans United ! Matt and the whole team I had was able to go above and beyond to simplify this process. They exceeded my expectations by far. Very grateful and I recommend anyone eligible to visit them. They provide every resource, document, and they did all of this is a timely manner.

We just wanted to say how grateful we are that the VA and you guys specifically worked with us in helping us purchase our first home all of you were so amazing, after the day of closing we stopped buy our new home and saw a package left on our doorstep you guys totally didn't have to gift us anything but everything inside was so adorable and so useful truly thank you.

The entire process was frustrating and made even more difficult by lack of responsibility and forethought from the entire Veterans United team
Response from Veterans United
Thanks for sharing this feedback, Jamie. I hate to hear that the process was frustrating for you. Buying a home should be an exciting time, and it sounds like we missed the mark in making it as smooth as it should have been.
I’d really like my team to learn more about what happened so we can look into it further. Definitely had some speed bumps along the way, most are from outside sources. At the end of the day we closed and are living in a brand new build. Could not be happier with my families future with utilizing Veterans united and the staff they employee.

The whole team was very pleasant and repose dive through the whole process. Very good people to work with. Thank you all.

This was my 4th home purchase, under the least desirable conditions, and my BEST experience because of Veterans United. Nina Paddock is a person you can trust to look out for your interests in one of your biggest investments! Ask for her by name and you will not be disappointed.

Veterans United and my care team made the home buying process painless. The team was very responsive and helped walk me through the process as a first time home buyer.

It was a little tough getting my paperwork together because I am deployed. But it all worked out! I closed and now have my new home!

My only recommendation would be to clarify to the buyer what steps are not optional in the to do list. That was the source of my initial confusion (initial vs refinance).

10/10 for Robert, Sam, Alex and everyone who helped us realize our home-buying dream. While the process was stressful having never done this before, everyone at VU was ready at the helm to answer all our questions and to provide the necessary guidance. The staff was so helpful and friendly making us feel like they were truly in our corner. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of services.

There were two options we were given. To pay or not to pay. We ended up saying we did not want to pay numerous times and it went to the other option to pay multiple times where we had it rewritten for us not to pay. It was very frustrating and stressful. In the end everything worked out but was told numerous things like we wouldn’t have to pay two months and that was wrong info too.

Hi Vaolele,
I’m really sorry to hear how frustrating this process was for you. Buying a home is stressful enough without having to deal with conflicting information, and I can understand how that would be incredibly frustrating. That’s not the experience we want for our Veterans, and I hate that we missed the mark here.
My team would really like to look into what happened and see how we can learn from your experience. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’d love the chance to talk through your concerns and make sure you have the support you need.
Very good experience being a first time home buyer I'm gonna recommend them to other veterans
