My credit report had, as would be expected from most lower enlisted Veterans, a few blemishes. Most other banks and lenders advised me to pay my most expensive debts back in order to qualify for a loan. With Veterans United and their Lighthouse program, I was able to get my credit where it needed to be for %10 of the cost as others. My loan team was fantastic and very patient. Use your own real estate agent. Make sure to do your research there. Blake is fast with response and helpful. Make sure to do your own research and shop rates. That got me a better rate than Blake initially offered. Blake got everything done and together on time. No issues and certainly would recommend vet United up to this point. I don’t know about after they sell the loan but as of this point (week post closing) I’m a happy customer.
