This is the 3rd time I have used Veteran's United and specifically Luke Thurman. I did not even shop for the best rates the 3rd time because I knew Luke would be competitive and he would treat me like an important customer.
I am impressed for the commitment this lender has to provide me with the best service and answering my questions immediately. The attention to details and the quickness and ensuring all the steps are taking for a better burr experience. Veterans United’s team members are exceptional. Don't hesitate, pull the trigger. You will not be disappointed. Do what the team asks of you document submission and inspection wise placing a priority on it - you know as if you're about to get cash-in-hand for doing so. Then, just sit back and watch the calendar go by. I would say our loan should have been complicated because we just sold a rental property, etc. all of which are markers for underwriting review - Mike and his folks make it no issue whatsoever. Our documents and to-do's were always in our online account, we would promptly knock them out, provide supporting docs and away we went. Check went in the box and we never had to worry about anything again. Absolutely seamless.This team is phenomenal. Was truly a pleasure to work with.

Understand if you're nervous, it's a big purchase. I was nervous and I've purchased other homes in the past. Being in the military and moving often, couldn't help but accumulate a few homes under your belt. Veterans Untied set us at ease and made the entire process so easy for us. Within 30 minutes of answering some questions on line, we were approved for a loan and assigned a loan officer. The difficult part was choosing the right home. Thanks Veterans United. When I first discovered I would be getting medically retired I called Veterans United to see about getting approved for a home loan. They were with me through out the year and a half wait to finally be processed out of the service and get my disability rating. When it finally came time start the house hunting process Veterans Untied stayed in constant contact and explained every part of process to me as we came to it, and answered all my questions. Just as a buyer should do with any loan company they work with, be sure to read all fine print and calculations. You are your best advocate. But anytime I noticed an issue or had a concern, the team helped to remedy and/or explain why it was the way it was. Love our new home!

There is simply just no other mortgage company that is better for VA loans, than Veterans United... They helped my fiance and I get our first home, and honestly, it was much easier than anticipated. Everything from the credit help personnel, to the financing team, to the loan officer. If you guys can ask, PLEASE ask for Jake Hanson, he was HANDS DOWN the most incredible, prompt, and considerate Loan Officer I have ever encountered (and I work at a company who does conventional mortgages). This company truly cares about its clients and their goals, and will do what they can to get you there. I loved every moment of working with them, and will do so again in the years to come!
My wife and I were first time homeowners and Seth made the process extremely simple and stress free. Over the last few months, I had to learn a lot of the process as we went along and Seth took the time to explain and break things down for me when I had trouble understanding. He was always a phone call away and responded almost immediately to emails if I couldn't get him on the phone. In fact, the process was so smooth that I became nervous as we approached our closing date because it felt like things were going too smooth, and I was worried that something would fall through at the last minute. But Seth assured us constantly throughout the process and provided us with constant help and guidance. He even sent us a monogrammed gift through the mail prior to closing. The whole process from applying for the loan to the funding of the loan took less than a month. It all depends on how fast you want to close on the home. Now I'm a home owner, and it feels great!P.S. make sure you shop around for lenders, and use them to negotiate better interest rates.
