Bad communication and follow through.

Katy and the team were wonderful during our process of buying our home. They were very knowledge and professional. I really believe they had our best interest at heart.

the process was long but I am satisfied with the end result,

I was bummed when I found out that Veteran's United did not give me the best rates available. I got a better offer from another company and I was too far in the process to change lenders. Additionally, there were issues that occurred in the exchanges between the lender, realtor, and title company. Problems such as requests for documents that had already been sent. I also had to drop what I was doing in the middle of a business trip because the wrong paperwork was given to me to sign for closing, and I had to stop what I was doing at a clients office to handle it, which was embarrassing for me.Overall, VU got the job done, and I think VU is a good group of people, but I have a hard time recommending VU to friends and family based on the issues that I had.

Awesome easy process

My experience with Veteran United Home loans was very rewarding. My loan

It was a pleasure working with Clint and Matt. They were both professional and fast. I appreciated being kept in the loop through the entire process and they were always available for questions.

Great team great experience

The only thing I would like to mention is that the Appraiser did not follow through with the appraisal in a timely manner. The appraisal was ordered on 4/9, he went to appraise on 4/13 and I did not receive the appraisal until 5/3/18, I believe. So we were not able to meet the agreed date of 4/25/18 with the sellers, fortunately it wasn't a problem for them. I would suggest that the Appraisers you work with keep to the required VA guidelines for timeliness with providing the appraisals. $800 is a lot of money and for the appraiser to go well past the required VA Appraiser timeline is not acceptable. But this was not Hunter's fault in any way, no bad reflection on Hunter at all.

We went from contract to closing in 30 days! amazing. also, my Veterans United team sent me a waffle kit in the mail!

A very professional staff who are committed to serving Veterans and their families.

The full requirements are not provided upfront and it causes customers unnecessary extra crap. Stop this at closing.
