Cortney needs some work not that she's bad she's nice. When communicating with her she can be a bit confusing and also a bit sarcastic when trying to explain things to me, she often left me lost and confused. There was a time she told me how long she was working for Veterans United and I felt this information was unnecessary. To me it was like she was trying to show off her know how skills, and that can lead to a poor customer experience and may lead the customer away from the home loan experience.
Katie, Ali and Patty are an amazing team. They were courteous, patient, and very well spoken and knowledgable. I came into buying a house very scared of the whole process. Throughout the 2 months of dealing with a complicated and tiresome seller, these women never faltered and never failed me.
I also wish to thank Jessica and Sheila for all the work they performed on my behalf. They are extremely courteous and efficient and always made themselves available for me. Additionally, I wish to recognize Betsy Thompson who was my real estate agent. Betsy was just fabulous, she is highly organized and motivated, and is a skilled agent whom I feel represented me extremely well. Alex Herbel and Betsy Thompson, together as a team, made my home purchase with Veterans United go smoothly.
Keith Brown is very professional and knowledgeable and also made this process a great one.
Josh Berkley and his assistance Courtney Allison were very nice. In the beginning they were right on top of things; but once the offer was signed things got spotty. I thought I was Josh Berkley's client but I dealt with Courtney Allison more, and in several situations she had to defer to Josh.
Josh gave me his word that he would make things right; but I confess I have felt like my concerns and attention to details were NOT a priority. The back and forth between my realtor and the seller's realtor, combined with the lack of my requests during the process to be followed up on were abandoned.
Josh is a very busy person; he was unavailable during the process 3 times. He apologized and I accepted his apology but I felt with the importance of the things that were needed to be conveyed between buyer and seller (binzer stuff) were left for me the seller to deal with.
I made a major request to be contacted when the seller was having repairs done and it was completely ignored and I was left holding the bag. This was very discouraging and costly for me.
I love my house and I am happy I have it... but if i had to do it again... I would have done things very differently.
I personally do not feel that Josh earned his commission with the sale of my house.

Thank you for an effortless home buying experience.
Tell Wyatt that people have every right to complain about being delayed again, Its stressful on our end too and to disrespect my wife by accusing her of being a complainer trying to close when I would be home for just a few days and get it done before I left again is B.S. She had never complained until the end.
this process was incredibly difficult, made more so by regulations applied without common sense. I have a much better understanding now after enduring the VA loan process why there are so many homeless veterans. With the challenges that so many of us face, the requirements are simply too much to deal with. Some of these guys are even overwhelmed by the application, much less the rest of it. Offering a liaison to folks in need of help might make this more accessible to more vets. I struggled a great deal and I'm supposedly "high functioning". It's simply too much, and I will never get another VA loan and I will tell vets I know not to do it either. They make it nearly impossible and it's simply too stressful. It doesn't have to and shouldn't be that way.
Thanks for helping us buy our home!
Sean was awesome. I simply cannot say enough good things about him. From start to finish he demonstrated a level of professionalism and expertise that would be expected of someone who buys and sells multi million dollar properties. At the same time, he made us feel as though we were his only clients. Thanks to Sean and the whole Veterans United team, this first home buying experience was extremely enjoyable. Thank you to everyone involved!
I felt that she was not fully invested in our purchase. We had to ask for things she should have taken care of
without prompting. Like the By laws of the HOA before the interview. Overall I liked her as an individual but felt we should have used the agent my wife has known for years. Also I had called the woman that chose her the day after we first met her and she never returned our call.
Ute was very professional and knowledgeable about the loan processing steps. She helped answer our many questions and helped resolve any problems that occurred.
