I would recommend Veterans United to anyone wanting to get a refinance with Ryan and Derick were great to work with and got the job done in a very professional manner.

I only remark that I would not recommend Veterans United is that there were better options with local lenders that I did not take. I was not impressed with the outsourcing of insurance information and floodplain survey information. That is not the loan teams' fault in any way. I was only disappointed that the information was erroneous, and the Veterans United insurance plans were astronomically more expensive that other insurance options that offer similar coverage. There were also lapses of communication regarding outstanding loan requirements leading to a timeline shift in the closing.





This entire process was so much easier than it could have been had it not been for this group of people that came together just for me!

I enjoyed my experience with Chris and his team. They made the process simple and I didnt feel overwhelmed during the home buying process.


Overall it was a very good experience. VU has really put a lot of thought behind their processes to make it as seamless as possible.

This was my second dealing with VU. The first time in 2018 was absolutely a 10/10, but this time around it was certainly less than that. This time around VU didn't have the best terms that I could find, however I was counting on having a great experience so I decided to stick with them. However, during the process, some things were forgotten about and/or not communicated well by the team which led to some frustration on my part. One particular note for this experience was the notable lack of professionalism from Clayton R. Not only did I notice this, but my wife, my HR department at work, and my realtor all commented on this same thing. Overall it seemed to us like our case wasn't given the attention that it needed in order for it to be frictionless. On a positive note, we were able to close on time. I would still say VU is a capable loan provider for VA loans, but I would probably not go out of my way to do business with them again. Overall 6/10 for this experience.

They were prompt in response time, patient with all my questions and eager to be a part of my process every step of the way. The thoughtful touch of the gift was appreciated alongside all the check ins and reminders as well. The app was easy to use and helped keep me organized and on track. Great job Veterans United....all the way around I'm very satisfied with the entire process.
