We were preapproved for $130k and a VA home loan. When we put in an offer on a $120k house it was a circus show finding out I actually didn't qualify for a VA loan and had to change my loan type in short order to secure my home purchase. Requested the same documents multiple times. Overall unorganized and dysfunctional.
