I took the time online to compare mortgage companies which help veterans. Veterans United was highly recommended. I could tell from any disgruntled comments that those reviewers had unreasonable expectations (i.e. approval and fast processing with bad or no credit). I'd worked very hard over the past two years to improve our credit, and, thankfully, my efforts weren't in vain. EVERYONE at Veterans United (from first call through closing and legond) was helpful, informative, courteous and respectful. My husband and I were guided through every step of the process. The Veterans United web site organized all of our " to-dos" and kept track of each step as it was completed. Whenever we had questions or concerns, our loan specialist was always there with the information We needed. Would we recommend Veterans United to family and friends? Absolutely! - and to anyone else looking for as smooth a mortgage process as anyone could reasonably expect.
