I am a disabled veteran. I was tried very disrespectful by Mr. Nick Kundert. He was displaying a form of racism towards me as a African American and a Army veteran. This individual has problems with losing paperwork, not looking on the computer for information already processed by others in his own organization of Veteran United home loan. I had to file a complaint again him and have him replaced with by Ms. Janeanne Stephens who took over the loan situation about four days before closing and we didn't close until the next day on July 13, 2017 because of Mr. Kundert deliberate sabotage of my loan process. However, God is good throughout the prejudice structure of this individual. I will let other veterans know about this individual. Because of him we had to stay longer in the hotel.
At no time was I ever left "wondering" what was going on. Derek and his team kept in touch the entire time, answering every question I had, and taking care of everything for me.
Very pleasant experience and a awesome team
The efficiency and kindness of the team I worked with was evident from the first phone call to the last. As things came up (as they always do), the VU team was quick to let us know the situation and offer a solution. The generosity and gratitude we received when working with VU makes me sure that we will come back to this company.

Amazing experience
Veteran united, you are to be congratulated on the employees you have representing you. The service I was provideded throughout the entire loan process is almost unique in today's business world. Also,the loan process information contained online is great and that along with the obvious experience of Steve Staszcuk and his ability to answer all questions, left me with a very satisfying experience.
The Lighthouse Program was a great resource, and Brian Schmidt was very helpful.

V U Loan Specialist not available after first couple of contacts, failed to return phone calls and some emails. Realtor helped me more. Not available to answer questions in a timely manner. On vacation to Hawaii while I was extremely frustrated try to close since finding home in April.
