We started the loan with VU under the impression that we would close on a certain date. In fact several emails I received even up to the last few days had this date on it. Even the realtor that VU provided had us come meet her on the day of the expected closing, only to find out when I showed up that we would not close for another 3 days. Normally that would not be a big deal, however I had taken off work for that day, gotten a hotel, and rented a moving truck all of which I had to extend for another 3 days. I also had to go to work on the new closing day which means I had to sign a power of attorney for my wife so she had to do everything by herself. It was a horrible experience and cost me hundreds of dollars.
Justin was outstanding with his work. Highly recommend for all VA loans.
