I uploaded documents and then two weeks later, they were "waiting on me to submit the documents".I specifically stated they were not permitted to contact my current landlord and sent 3 other accounts to verify consecutive payments. However, they took it upon themselves to contact my current landlord which resulted in costing me $3000. I even told them I would get them a statement from my landlord on the timely payments. But again, they disregarded what I said.
My team led me every step of the way. They were patient and answered all questions I had. They set me up with a realtor that was absolutely wonderful.
I would like to see that closing cost from the customer is more possible then you advertise. We had to pay over $7600 in closing cost when your advertisements leads your customers to believe that they will have no out of pocket expenses. You advertise that the closing cost will be rolled into your financing. You didn't. I would recommend that my friends or family do more research on their VA home loan lenders.

The underwriter was the only problem, provided them a document from the State of Alaska showing my retriement date and benefits, I was already retired and they still wanted to see the actual award letter, made myself a pain to my retirement coordinator so he could send me the document when the projected benefits were already spelled out, had it not been for Justin working to make sure my interest rate didn't go away I would have gone to another company specializing in VA Loans.
