Communication between my loan specialist and her assistant seemed to be lacking at times. Ocasionally I was asked to provide the same information more than once, or was unsure about what was required. However, overall everything went very smoothly and I am more than satisfied with my experience. Great company to work with.

I am truly speechless, in August of 2016 I was pre-qualified for a loan and I actually believed that I would never be able to afford a mortgage by myself with one income. So I asked that my file be closed at that time. Six months later a friend was selling her house and she priced it so that I could afford it on my own. I went back to Veterans United Home Loans and asked if it would possible to reopen my file and Windsor Cooper assisted me in beginning the application process.

My husband and I were nervous about the prospect of looking at houses and we were worried that we would need a lot of money in order to get into a home in such a competitive area. It was also our first time looking to purchase a home, so we felt very overwhelmed and inexperienced. Veterans United helped walk us through each step of the process and got in touch with us immediately after we filled out the application.
I have ill feelings towards the prepaid concept in my closing costs. Paying more than 12 months in prepaids is a bit much, even when considering a New Orleans, Louisiana resident. In addition, Veterans United processing fee is pricy as well.
