First time I’ve had a home loan be so streamlined and so easy despite the bumps in the road my loan officers Justin and Christie did a phenomenal job helping me get through this at times stressful situation. Always keeping me calm and motivated when the end didn't seem anywhere in sight.
Especially after my first deal
Fell through. Justin was invested in seeing me get a house that I wanted no matter how long it took or what he had to do to ensure I got the best interest rate. I look forward to the next time I need to purchase a home in the future.
Being a vet knowing you have a mortgage company looking out for you makes things easier. If I was still active duty I’d definitely trust VU with this process. one less thing to worry about while trying to do your job is definitely beneficial.Sincerely appreciate everything Justin and Kristen did for me. Thank you is simply not enough.
Best experience buying home thanks to Veterans United. It's my second time buying a home and second time using VA benefits. I had awesome realtor last time so the process was good. This time my realtor was lazy and on top of that tried to push some friend of hers as a lender. I am so glad I did not listen to my realtor and went with Veterans United. Fantastic team, always on top of things, even if it's beyond their scope. I had the lowest interest possible and all points were covered in 1% their fee. The concierge services are very useful. Their app interface is awesome with all information and every " to do's" easy to follow. Very transparent. Just great experience all over!!!
VU is the place to go for veterans! The process is made so simple for us, they make every step of the way simple. I did this entire process from my phone while working 3000+ hours a year! If you’re looking for a lender for VA loans this is a one stop shop that makes sure everything you need is covered! Many thanks to Doug and the team!
Highly professional, available when I needed questions answered. Worked with me in every step of the home buying process.
Do better estimating closing costs. You were thousands of and it caused way too much stress.
Great experience.
I think the worst part was the time line with underwriter- I would submit requested items within an hour - but approval process was lengthy and could have been sped up.
The team at veterans United are all a class act. They were there with us every step of the way during our home buying experience and got us the best rates on everything from homeowners insurance to the interest rate on our loan. Our realtor Mike Towler deserves a special shout out. The man had the patience of Job. Every question we had was answered in a timely fashion and as a special thank you for my service he purchased an additional insurance policy for us that covered things like our hot water heater and our furnace for a year if we had any problems with it. Who does that? Great job everyone and if I know of anybody who asks for a recommendation when it comes to home buying Veterans United will be the first organization I mention. Thanks again!
VA United started off with communication on level I think what would help overall is that when your file is submitted to the underwriting staff that they complete their entire process on location information then once everything is passed off to the tittle companies it would be their responsibility to get the information they need. There are just too many hands in the pot, and they are not communication with each other. But I would recommend VA United to family and friends overall.
