The personnel at Veterans United were all very accommodating and knowledgeable. However, the appraiser, Carol Z., did not complete her appraisal in a timely manner and made errors on the report she submitted causing more delays and fees.
Veterans United made the whole process of buying a home with a VA loan easy and seamless. I would absolutely recommend VU to a friend.
The closing process needs to be more detailed in making sure they have what they need. I was a month late in closing and the paperwork was still not correct at the settlement table. Settlement took 4 hours when it should have taken max 2.
I think it could have gone faster. I had to follow up several time on missing information, even though I kept asking to be told if they were missing anything. Other than that, it went well.

Angela Sanders and Cate Wilson were great but the underwriters were very frustrating. We would send in what they wanted and a couple days later they would ask for something else. The would recommend getting all info needed before asking.
