Yes I would highly recommend - my loan officer was Rachel Bruce and her team member Stephanie were great. They kept my husband and I up to date in the process, the app was user friendly and organized so I knew what I had to get done on the to do list. United VA Home Loan was great and helped us get a house that we can now call our home. I am very satisfied.

No, I would not recommend Veteran’s United. As a 30 year retired senior officer, I elected what I thought was an easy option. What I got was a complex, error-filled process that incurred numerous delays. Having borrowed just $122,000 for a 110 year old desert home appraised at just $153k, this home buying experience should have been easy. I opted for a conventional loan rather than a VA as I didn’t need the 100% option. Having been through 8 prior real estate transactions, this one takes the cake… excessive delays, missed closing dates on the part of the lender, excessive closing costs ($7,800) even though I chose a conventional loan to avoid up charges associated with VA loans, poor communication and not just with me but with the selected title company. I won’t be using VU again and I urge others to really take a hard look before they select them for their mortgage needs. Oh yeah, you local FCU will come through with a better APR assuming you have decent credit.

Everything was incredibly easy and smooth. The only thing we had an issue with was that sometimes the paperwork we needed to fill out in order to close needed to be filled out in a timeline that was too short like when my husband was in the field and couldn’t go in and get the paperwork needed. If there was a way to send out the paperwork earlier to give a little more wiggle room that would’ve been great.
I would say miss Andrew and his team worked very hard and very good together and I think everyone should really take a lesson of it and I will get all of them 10 all day long and I will let people know veteran that they can get a house and thank you very much for your time and your efforts and everybody’s patience

The entire team did an outstanding job from start to finish. Brooke Roberts(Senior Credit Consultant) started us with this proccess in January ensuring we knew what goals we needed to achieve in order to secure a credit score to get us qualified. Emmett Rogers(Senior Loan Officer) answered every single question, believe me there were alot, and answered the phone every single time I called to ask questions and to let me know where we stood with the proccess.
