VU needs a little more training when it comes to first time home buyers. The experience at time was quite difficult and confessing because I was a first time home buyers. Towards the end was one of the worst experience. I would receive an email with the exact same questions but just worded differently. I often felt they were trying to catch me in a lie. VU need to take care of their first time home buyers. If you would have asked me these above questions during the process I would have rated the whole experience as poor but I would have never turned another veteran against VU. But I had sometime to process the whole experience and I think overall it was ok . My big advice is not to leave your new home buyers out on a limb and walk them through the process slowly and make sure that it questions and answer in details. Don't ever make a customer feel like they are by themselves and your not on their team when difficult times arises. example had a problem with my former landlord. VU had the paperwork but they were sided with my landlord even through they had court documents, which prove he was not tell the truth,. Until my landlord told the truth then that's when VU decided to listen to my story. That was a nightmare within itself. I felt a lot of things I should not have went through during this process. VU customers service team was wonderful and polite each time I called the 800 number. The realtor was great and once I closed a week later they realtor team was closing and asking me about were would I like my check to go.
You guys were awesome, thank you so much for being so helpful and informative throughout this very tedious process. Our first homebuying experience was wonderful, and a lot less stressful than we thought it would be, thanks to you all.
This was our first time buying a home. We had no idea what to expect or what would happen. Veterans United made it very easy process and easy to understand as well as working fast. I love the loan tracker.
