When it's decided that a loan is duable, cover everything. We where held up by needing a water sample, we have a well. We could of closed with in a 30 day time frame if only we where asked if we had a well. We could of done the water test during the frst stages of the loan. Since a water sample is required. Good note we did need to shock the well. The only other issue was the hit and miss paper work. VA Mortgages should be more consistant on paper work. All and All it was good. We really enjoyed Austin, his manner was great. I had gotten up set a few times and took it out on Austin, he handled me well. This company's Blessed to have Rick, Austin, Chris, and all other team members that put this loan together. We got a great rate.

I really don't have any recommendations to make the entire team of Ryan, Joe, Derek, and Lydsay were all very professional, helpful, efficient and simply did a great job for me in a difficult market. I really could not ask for a better experience or better people.

VUHL alone is an exceptionally well conducted company. I cannot think of any improvements at this time.
Dont feel any improvement is needed
Make sure you ask you client when drawing up the mortgage papers how they would like their name to appear on the mortgage. So when they go to closing they are able to sign their name the same way they regularly sign.
My main concern was the closing cost, I understand it was not all up to them. But I had no idea how much i would need to bring to the table. Besides that, all my concerns and questions were answered promplty and with complete accuracy. I was really impressed with the professionalism from Mr. Lucas and the members of his office.

Make your program more well know. It's been an amazing experience and I can't imagine buying a home being any smoother especially with the agent I received. Make a commercial to get the word out. If you need a success story I have one you can use.
Hire loan officers who can the job done on time.
I was completly satisified with how things went.I don't think you could improve on the experiance we had.
We have a few instances in which we sent paperwork a week in advance and at the last minute we got notice that we need additional paperwork at the 9th hour or the last minute and we had to rush to get additional paperwork. Some times we did not get clear instructions from assistance loan officer. I felt like we were chasing him at times.

I can't really think of a thing. All my questions were answered in a timely frame. They were very clear about all of the paper work.
All we can say is that you get the job done. Our loan officer, Casey Martin, was terrific! We had a low appraisal and had to go to another loan company. They jerked us around for a few months and our appraisal expired. We had another one done and it was much higher, but they jerked us around a few more months. We finally came back to VUHL and Casey Martin again. He got the job done. We are very pleased. Thank you for a job well done. Harold and Jan

Maybe explain all of the closing costs at the beginning instead of just giving a closing cost number. i would have liked to know where these costs were from when I started and didn't really understand what they were until the end.
I would recommend more strongly if all the paperwork were explained further; more in detail. We had closed last week, January 23rd; thinking that everything was good, there was still yet another document that needed to be signed. Granted it was because of a shared driveway, this should have been explained prior to closing. Overall, our representative was extremely professional and very prompt when answering questions. I am very happy with everything.
