Veterans of my era tend to be men of integrity and honor. they accepted responsibilities that were unpopular but necessary and suffered the consequences of disrespect and disapproval. They are not used to having their integrity challenged nor their honor ignored. The closing process up to the commitment was as expected and handled well. After the commitment up to the closing seemed almost a personal attack on my financial responsibility. i realize that it was just people doing their job but it did nitpick its' way into my self esteem. The loan agent, Ross, was excellent and i appreciate all his efforts. I could not have gone through it otherwise. i do not know how you would make this any better and after my repeated failings in your evaluations i would not expect you to place any credence in anything i would submit. Thank you.
Manage the documents better so that the vet wont have to keep sending the same document over and over
First of all I would revamp your step process from start to finish, there is a lot of duplicate paper work that is sent and or incorrect. Know your checklists and when to ask for documentation, this would prevent irriated customers. The Drafting department really needs to look at documents sent out and make sure dates and information is correct for the customer. I would have to say this was, and is the worst experience my wife and I went through to set up the bi-weekly set up. I would NOT refer you all unless changes are made, your personnel were very kind for what guidelines they had to follow that were not consumer friendly I hope you take into consideration what I've said and really look into revamping your step process throughout that deals with the customer.

I have no negative comments, I just wanted to say Thank You to Cooper Allen, Steve Sands and Chris Holdman. They were very hands on and helpful and knowledgeable.
This was my first time buying a home. They assisted me with everything I needed to do in the whole process. The whole team was always willing and ready to answer all my questions and explain in detail anything I didn't understand.
Have some kind of support available on the weekends and a little after hours.
I can think of nothing, my experience with your company and my loan officer, Brendon Wilson was exceptional. The process was very timely and Brendon was very easy do deal with and most definitely knowledgeable in his area. I would recommend him to any of my friends and co workers; in fact I have done so already.
Keep all parties in the loop of information. I know my Realtor and I were well inform throughout the process but I don't think Sellers agent had up-to-date information as the process went through. Maybe that could have been the my agent's job to feed him the information but for future that would help if the chain email came from one source. VUHL is already doing a good job, just build upon that success.

I will love to hear that the chlidren of the veteran can be included in the purchase ofthe house. Also that they be able to buy the house from their parents, but of course it is only a suggestionAnd for the rest I must admit that I'm completely satisfy with the help of all included in finding a home for us. Underwriter,was wrong concerning what whe made us do in regarding prooving how i paid my rent. I believed I provided enough information but she did not know when to stop. I was so frustrated with her, i was ready to switch to another loan company. I believe i was treated very badly.
I can't think of any areas of improvement. I was very pleasantly surprised with how well everything went. Tony and his team did a great job. They answered all of my questions in a timely manner, and alleviatd all of the fears that I had about dealing with a company that was located in another state. Great Job!
