to shorting the process of the loan please remind the buyer that his account is subject for review and dont go purchase nothing or etc until the completion of the closing date
Chandra Heartland is not an asset to your company. She is very rude on the phone, when you are talking she just interrupts you and talks right over you like you aren't even on the line with her. We have bought and sold seven houses in our adult life and we have never had so much trouble and lack of attention paid to the purchase of a house, at one point we had to fax her the same sheet of information three different times. She would not return phone calls,we did not call her excessively at all, that made me wish we had not gone with your company. My wife and I are both Veterans, she the Air Force and myself the Navy. I am still a Veteran's Service Officer today. I am a Veteran's Advocate and I would not recommend your company to my Vets. My wife is a Registered Nurse, we both have college degrees and we are professional people. With Ms Hartland's rude and unprofessional manner, I am surprised you have any customers at all. Please be assured it gives me no pleasure writing this survey response. I expect you to return the $20.00 you took out of our checking account, that was how much the bank charged us for you checking to see if we had an account. I guess that is what you were trying to do.Which added insult to injury. Sincerely, Henry Michael Knodel
While the service from Veterans United was exceptional, the communication from the loan officer could have been better. Both myself, and my realty agent (Agi Donahue) experienced a lack of communication with my loan officer (Will McCullah). Several emails and messages sent to my loan officer were never responded too. I understand that loan officers stay pretty busy, but to wait for a week or more for a response is just not good business. I will say that in the end, toward closing, my loan officer did step up the communication and provided me with daily updates on the closing progress. While I would definitely recommend VUHL to any veteran looking to purchase a home, I would caution them on finding the appropriate home loan officer.

I would recommend that the loan officer in charge of the clients file stay in contact with the client. In my case I had to constantly contact the loan officer to get updates. This was very concerning as the process got closer to closing. I would also recommend that VUHL implement a best practices plan to avoid giving a loan officer to many clients or contracts to work.
Our Loan Officer was very unprofessional and would not take any responsibility for any of his mistakes. He would blame someone else for issues that he was solely responsible for during the process. I would not have him represent any of my fellow military personnel. I have a collection of the very unprofessional emails should you care to review them.
