I was nervous about buying a home but Abbie, Cindy and the rest of our team were so Amazing and made the process as simple and as painless as possible. This is our first home and I knew nothing of the whole process and they were kind and patient with us and explained everything in detail. I can't begin to express our gratitude to them.
I just really want to thank all parties involved. I started this process on March 10th. I closed yesterday the 30th of April. Throughout everything there was always someone to speak with when I needed help. I am not planning on moving anytime soon. I plan on being in my new house for a while. But if something should happen and I have to move again. I would definitely try to work with this team again.

I left the army in 2009. I wanted to purchase a home but learned that my SSN was reported deceased. After a long battle with the social security department I finally got enough proof that I was really alive. Turns out that they believe that when I was injured in Iraq in 2008 that “someone” reported I was KIA and my mother had even gotten a call from the Red Cross that I had died.
Now that you know the back story, I had to completely rebuild my credit. Veteran United actually help guide me with its credit building teams to rebuild my credit. It did take a little over a year but I got it in range to where I would get qualified for a home loan. Eventually leading to this very moment where I’m a home owner and just spent my first night at my new home! Thank you everyone who helped along the way!
