Veterans United is likely a great option for someone living on the East coast; not so much for someone living on the West coast who can't receive calls during work hours. No one on the loan team is available to speak with after-hours or Sundays, so majority of communication was delayed and by email mostly. It wasn't a great fit for us.

I'm an old-timer very private, what do you care who is doing what with my house? My realtor and Jordon set me straight. So I made one mistake, and after that 100% positive teamwork.
THe VU team really helped my husband and I get through a major move after 36 years in one place. We didn't always understand exactly what to do and they patiently explained it, sometimes more than once. We always felt they were working with and for us, a comforting feeling for seniors who didn't know what exactly what they were doing. I really appreciated their attitude and gracious reminders.
