Why shouldn't I be seeking legal action? Somebody, fluffing anybody needs to make this right to me. My hot water heater didn't even work when I got here. None of my new appliances are new as advertised. The place wasn't cleaned or painted properly. Garbage disposal hooked up illegally. Most things in this house aren't up to code. $450 For a home inspection that said none of this. Eight hundred and fifty for an appraisal that didn't catch anything either. I can't recommend anybody that I'm really thinking about contacting a lawyer about. You took advantage of the fact that I could not be here to see it in person. Instead of seeking legal action, I'd prefer if somebody would make it right.

I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’re facing with your new home. This sounds incredibly frustrating, especially when you’ve invested so much into making this place your own. The last thing anyone wants is to move into a home and be met with these kinds of challenges.
While we don’t control the condition of the home, the VA appraisal mainly focuses on the property’s value and basic safety standards rather than a detailed inspection. We do recommend a thorough home inspection for exactly these reasons, but I completely understand how upsetting it is that the inspection didn’t catch these major issues.

Comparing my experience with the team I used in VA.The CO team seemed either really rushed or just very all over the place. I was sending the same information over and over. There was a lot of confusion and I am not sure where it started. We were able to get through the process but it could of been easier with more communication.
I have Rett and his team twice. They made everything stress free and smooth.
There were some things that weren’t done until the last minute. But it all worked out.
All in all they worked hard for me.

Great job by the whole team! You made the experience enjoyable and very convenient.
My only issue was the way the interest rates were disclosed and VU isn't unique in the way they do it. Like I said, I like all my info laid out, and I didn't realize that the interest rate was already bought down which skewed my numbers. Also, our previous lender was better about how they locked the interest rate. This one felt more trap like.
However, the people I talked to were all very personable and I'm really happy with how fast it went. I didn't know you could even close a house so quickly, and if the stuff that wasn't in our control was quicker, I believe Ben and Jim could've kept up. They were great.
Jen has been so awesome to work with. Her genuine personality and professionalism, and her ability to connect is very special that you do not find in others. From the moment we spoke, I knew Jen had our best interests in mind and ensured we got the home we loved and dreamed of.
