The experience was 10/10 until we reached the closing date. Clint was incredible to work with and helped me out every step of the way. There was a miscommunication so my spouse on the mortgage despite her not being present at signing. We were supposed to close on a Friday afternoon and it took until the following Wednesday to resolve all of the paperwork. I couldn’t reach anyone on the team that Friday evening and when one of the team members responded to my realtor I was not included in the response or contacted by veterans united. It felt like the team didn’t know what options I wanted to go ahead with.
The closer insisted on my spouse waiving her homestead rights if she wasn’t on the title, but didn’t explain why it was necessary. The title attorney and her team were also confused because it was an unusual request.
Veterans home loans are the best company you could choose in the journey for a new home. The team works together to make your dreams a reality. Justin and his team were phenomenal. A complete joy to work with. This was our first home and we were relaxed through the process. It was an exceptional experience and we will recommend them to everyone we can. Thank you!
