From our experience, the best thing about Veterans United is the staff that worked with us. Jason Lacy and his team were exceptionally kind with us every time we spoke with them. The worst experience we had was the appraisal process. The appraisal took a good amount of time to complete when we were on a time crunch to purchase the home; although they did a great job in terms of appraising the house thoroughly and correctly, the time it took to complete was worrying my wife and I.Overall, we highly recommend Veterans United to anyone and everyone, especially first-time home buyers!

Veterans United is amazing. We didnt know what to expect coming into this process. We always heard it could be rough. But, starting with Susan helping get our credit where it needed to be and ending with Charles (best loan officer ever), Susan, Nicole and Amanda finishing up and closing on our first home in time for Christmas (17 days!!!) the process has been so streamlined and easy. As a first time homebuyer, I was very happy with the whole process, Miss Allison, Barno, and Kara were the best that anyone could ask for. Their knowledge and expertise working for Veterans United is top notch! I didn’t feel like I was just another number in their eyes, they made us feel like family. 100% hands down will use VU again. My lender strung me along for 7 months constantly making me feel uneasy about our home buying process. Weeks before closing they became very confusing and repetitive in requests and just over all terrible communication and customer service. I had received a preapproval from VU before so I just contacted them again. I had to apply all over again but Lauren and Hannah came in as what I can only describe as “like superheros” and helped me prep my application for the most efficient way to get underwriting done. My closing did have to get adjusted to allow for a couple of things to process… but that adjustment was ONE DAY. I will forever keep the VU team in mind and look forward to working with them again some day!
