There was 2 great mistakes that put my family in a money hardship. The loan officer Ms Dennis Stroud not informing us, the real estate agent or me until 2 days before closing for the things that need to be fixed (the termite wood) so we can close on the house in time creating an extension in the hotel staying a extra week from August 19 2026 to August 28 2026 that was not in our budget creating a gap in our save money. Also Ms Dennis Spoke to me and gave me the incorrect closing cost estimate. Remember I understand Veterans United is a business but we loosing money it might not mean nothing for your company but for me and my family of 6 is a gap that Ms Dennis Stroud or anyone at Veteran United care about. May be if I was giving any compensation from veterans united like Ms Dennis mentioned privately to someone at least my last week of the hotel stay I will be able to tell all my military comrades that veterans united is a good lender after several people suggested me that veteran united give problems to a lot of people that veterans united don’t compensate clients for viral mistakes and I am another veteran with no compensation after mistakes that mean nothing to Veterans United with ex military veterans like me that live check by check after injury’s in combat. That showed that to Veterans United is just a business bait. Unfortunately I can’t tell anyone that they should get as a lender Veterans United. If at least me and family gets compensates for the week I have to stay in the hotel and when they make a mistake that cost clients money then I can say Veteran United take care of there clients and that the Veterans United name is not just a baited name. I still will wait for my week of compensation.
I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. I was afraid the process would be long, hard, and maybe someone would pull the wool over my eyes. But the transparency of the VU team made all those fears go away. They truly are in this for the right reasons and it shows. They helped me and my family purchase our first home in less than a month and we are forever grateful and blessed!
This is our 3rd home with Veterans United. The process has been smooth every time.

We had such a great experience working with our lender! He was amazing from start to finish. He always kept us updated and made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way.One thing we really appreciated was how much he stayed ahead of everything.
