To be honest, I can’t believe I’m actually writing a review right now. I was just thinking about taking some equity out of my house and had no clue what the process was like and I could not believe it was that easy to get $150,000 loan the gentleman working on my loan Eric and Aaron were excellent with communication what we needed to do, etc., etc Naomi complaint would be they could have better explained the signing and how we would get the funds. My poor wife for seven days after a notary had come right to our house to sign all the paperwork there was more that should’ve been done to receive the money it seems Eric and Aaron once they were done with their part. It was like yeah that’s on that company. Good luck.. so just besides that at the end, I can’t stress how easy it was.
As a first-time homebuyer, the process felt overwhelming at first, but the entire team at Veterans United made it completely smooth and stress free. Every single question no matter how small was answered with incredible promptness and precision. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Even with all the Bumps we ran into they still made my Dream Come True of being a Home Owner, They are Amazing People to work with and Always have your Best Interest in mind, I highly recommend them!
What a great experience! They make it so easy with the app. No more having to fax tons of pages of information, just take a photo of the necessary documents and upload them. The app “to do” list keeps your tasks at your fingertips. The staff we dealt with were kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We went from toying with buying a new home to closing in less than 2 months. I will definitely tell our friends about Veterans United.
Alan and his team were great; communicative, quick to respond, fantastic to work with. I would work with him and his team again in a heartbeat.Underwriting and the backend turned what should have been a 4-6 week simple refinance in to a 3 month drawn out affair. Paperwork was wrong on multiple occasions and it took 3 signing attempts to get it done, because names were wrong on official paperwork.I was happy with our overall price and where we ended up, but the fees were considerably higher than competing companies.

At the same time, I’m sorry the process took much longer than expected and required multiple signing attempts due to issues with the paperwork. I can understand how frustrating that would be, especially after an otherwise positive experience with your loan team. I also appreciate your candid feedback about the fees.

Our loan officers, Marlon and Tori were very helpful to my wife and I throughout the process. They let us know whenever we needed to submit any documents and kept us up to date when there were delays due to underwriting. I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.
