Highly recommend Jessica Galvin at Veterans United!!!My wife and I recently closed on our home here in San Diego, and I want to share our experience working with Veterans United, specifically Jessica Gavin and Nicole Sedelmeier. We started this whole home buying journey back in 2023, and at that time we were already preapproved with three different lenders, so we’ve dealt with lenders and banks trying to sell us their products, pushing things we didn’t ask for, and not really giving us the information we needed. As first time homebuyers, we didn’t want sales pitches; we wanted knowledge, clarity, and someone who could actually guide us.Fast forward to this year, and we were struggling again with two different lenders. Communication was terrible. Loan officers kept changing – five times total – and every time we’d get an email saying someone new was assigned to our file. We were constantly playing phone tag, waiting days for email replies, and never actually connecting with anyone. We needed a loan team that wasn’t restricted to banking hours and actually cared about keeping us informed.Then we met Jessica Gavin, and everything changed. With Jessica leading the loan side and Nicole coordinating the closing process, our loan was completed within the 16 day timeline; and to top that off, we were clear to close in just 7 days. For first time homebuyers, that’s wild. What a great experience! They make it so easy with the app. No more having to fax tons of pages of information, just take a photo of the necessary documents and upload them. The app “to do” list keeps your tasks at your fingertips. The staff we dealt with were kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We went from toying with buying a new home to closing in less than 2 months. I will definitely tell our friends about Veterans United.
