After a long struggle figuring out what job to take and where to live, we finally made our way to Tennessee. We said no to many and found the right home for us, our fur babies, and our plants. It’s an acre with a pool and a fenced-in backyard. Happiness was found with the help from our realtor and VETERANS UNITED!
If you can work with Sarah Streeter please look her up! She is open and knowledgeable about the expectation of the process and just getting the ball rolling with things. I really enjoyed her service from the preapproval letter all the way through the closing documents phase. Also Bailey Lyons was available and keen on following up and staying on top of my file. This is my second time buying a home but the first time using veterans united and I will always use veterans united in the future if I end up moving on. It was the easiest process using VU which was such a relief for me.They were there every step of the way to answer any questions, explain things multiple times if needed, lol. I cannot recommend them enough, it's the only way to go.

Getting into contact with the team leading up to my closing was extremely difficult and I would not be contacted back for hours after reaching out. In a time of constant change, I was disappointed that I could not speak with my team quickly about closing matters.The underwriting process was terrible. There we unnecessary delays and things requested that my team should have told me about in advance, not when the underwriter requested them.I will not be recommending VU to others. This has not been a good experience for me.
I have a great deal of respect for my team of professionals who helped me during the home buying process. They helped me find answers to my questions and choose the best mortgage for me. They helped me find the house I was looking for then took me through the whole process.
