Before I close out I wanted to mention another VU team member. Chris Kubat was our loan coordinator and is a fellow veteran (Ooh-rah!). Chris was our contact as the loan officer focused on compiling and passing on and receiving the numbers from underwriting and closing. Chris kept us up to date with the happenings, notified and followed up on action items from us and all others involved. And as a veteran who utilized the VA loan personally he could relate and shared a common ground with us. Chris as the closing date approached was a conductor of a symphony, making sure everyone completed their “to-do’s” and set each other up for success.In closing, Veterans United and their affiliates are a DREAM TEAM! They will give you nothing but their best and will get you nothing but the best. My family and I are exceptionally grateful for ALL of the help, patience, assistance, and advice our Loan Team gave us from the START. Tyler Kettle, Nina Chapin, Holli Schutte, were all amazing individuals. The key to our relationship was communication. From a buyer's perspective, you NEED to check your online portal every day. When you get a task on the 'To-Do's' list, complete it ASAP. IT will make your loan experience REALLY EASY, and it will make your Loan Teams' job a lot easier.
