I cannot believe how easy working with my VU team was! I was so nervous about the home buying process (this was my first) and using my VA benefits. I was expecting my information to get brokered out and have a million people call me wanting my money. BOY WAS I WRONG! I’ve already recommended VU to my vet friends!

Yes, I would definitely recommend this company. We worked with Matthew Gandlemyer, he was so calm, patient, and professional . He really worked hard for us. We had problems with V.A. financing and he got it solved. We thank him so much.

You can't go wrong with Veterans United. I can definitely say they truly care about us veterans and making our dreams of homeownership come true! Can't say enough words of how amazing Ryan and his team were through the entire process! They made sure I understood everything throughout the process and even after the sale! I can’t give enough kudos to them all.

Simply put Brett was awesome.

Always willing to answer or find answers to my questions.

Great company!

We could not have asked for a smoother process in being a first time home buyer. From the beginning as we searched and read the many reviews, we just knew that's Veterans United would be the best option for us

I highly recommend working with Veterans United. They are a culmination of professionalism, effectiveness, and initiative driven professionals that have a desire to get veterans in homes as quickly as possible. Thorough, active, and engaging....you will not be disappointed. Ryan and Amelia were always available and bent over backward to make this home buying experience memorable. We made an offer and closed on our home in less than 25 days. Awesome job by everyone.

Getting a mortgage is always stressful. It is nice to know that Chase and the team at Veterans United are only a phone call or email away.

Veterans United is a special Mortgage Vender, who helped my Wife and I purchase our home very easily.

I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend it to other veterans. The overall loan process was cumbersome and slow. Documentation requests were made piecemeal rather than gathering all required documents at once. It seems the underwriters were not fully aware of the necessary documentation for loan approval or denial. Overall, the process was challenging and difficult to endure.
Response from Veterans United
Hey JT,
I’m sorry to hear that your experience with us felt slow and frustrating. The home loan process can be stressful, and it sounds like the back-and-forth on documentation made things even tougher. Sometimes, additional documentation is needed after underwriting begins to clear or confirm conditions, but that doesn’t make it any less stressful to go through. You deserved clearer communication and a smoother process than what you described.
I’d like for my advocates to learn more about your experience so we can see where things went wrong and share your feedback with our team. When you have a moment, please reach out to us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.
This was the easiest and least stressful way I could have imagined purchasing my first home. My team was absolutely amazing, and always made themselves readily available for any questions or concerns I had throughout the process. 10 out of 10 would gladly use Veterans United every time.

This was my first time using my veteran's benefits to buy a home and I couldn't be happier that I picked Veterans United to be my mortgage lender. Jason Bals, Megan Staszcuk, and Travis Roberts are an amazing mortgage team and we want to thank each one for their help in closing on our home. Thank you to all!

The numbers need to go to 12, because the whole team was great and responsive. I would definetely recommend them to anyone.
