I am giving a rating of 7 for VU based on my experience working with Navy Federal Credit Union on my last home purchase. VU also did not have the best origination fees. However, Joseph Sepulveda did a great job to sway me to VU. Although NFCU sold my loan to another bank, they maintained excellent customer service, and the payment process was straightforward and easy to manage. However, I have concerns about whether VU will provide a similar experience, and that remains to be seen. If all goes well with no payment issues or customer service I have no problem updating my rating.
