I had the best experience throughout; this my second home (sold my first) and the difference is night and day. I absolutely recommend Veterans United, can't beat the rate either. The entire Veterans United team is so professional in what they do, I am so grateful I chose Veterans United to establish my goal of owning a permanent home to live in! Best decision I have made in a long time, thank you Veterans United!
My entire team was GREAT! My loan officer-Shawn, helped me understand a lot when it came to DTI which I will use moving forward. He answered all questions and was readily available when needed. Troy- my real estate agent- I could go on and on about him. He was a GEM, very patient and understanding. My concierge-Gavin, made sure if I needed anything he was ready to assist and my loan coordinator - Marina answered all my questions whenever I had any. I would recommend this team to anyone - they seemed to really care!

The lending team assigned to me had a month and a half to close, they failed to do so in that time. Because of it the seller ran into problems and had to extend the time I could close and move in. Had to open a credit card that I did not want because they couldn't secure the loan without me doing so after I was already approved for the loan. I was also moved multiple times from representative to representative to the point where I didn't know who to contact for what issue I was having. Seemed like problem after problem. The only good was my assigned Concierge.

Even though it is a long-drawn-out proposal until closing is complete, don't get frustrated. Veterans United keeps you informed about where everything is at and answers any questions you may have. This was a very difficult experience. I have purchased three homes in my life. I was really praying that the fact that the company used "Veterans" would be more conducive to taking care of business. It was not up to par.

Everyone was Wonderful to work with
The entire experience with Veterans United wasn't like a loan officer and loan specialist, it felt like friends helping each other. Look, for us veterans being genuine is huge. We can sniff it out when you aren't, and the entire team was rock solid genuine. I never had hesitation about anything. We finally did it! Thanks to Nick and Spencer for being there for us, they made buying in this crazy market a lot less stressful.
