Veterans United is convenient if you have to PCS in a pinch. However, in the future, we will continue to work with local lenders as we have with our previous two home loans. And we will recommend our military friends do the same. It makes a huge difference when your lender is local and can work with you on a personalized level. No one wants to be just another number. Especially when it comes to such an important purchase.

Over all, their miscommunication and lie cost me money and time but the deal got done. Mystle is pretty solid but as a team I wouldn’t not recommend real estate agent is great. Title company took care of me at the end and the lady was nice.The lie was not acceptable at all.

The overall experience was good. We did have some confusion on how to turn in the gift money before closing that cost my wife a day of running around. Would have been nice to have a better understanding of what needed done EXACTLY and where the money needed to go and when. My wife felt that the to-do list had a lot of repetitive information, which was a little frustrating. The urgency felt from the to-do was a right now scenario and sometimes when we needed answers immediately a couple times we would have to wait until next day for a reply. Durell did get back with us more times then not rather immediately as well as Juan. Thank you both for the help!
It was unknown whether I would need my own homeowners insurance or if it was included in with the HOA fees until the day I closed. I had to cancel the policy I signed up for.
