great experience feels like I could have found it cheaper but the price I paid was well worth it.
Overall I had great experience and I would highly recommend, this team of individuals to my friends and family in a heart beat. Keep up the outstanding customer service!!
Overall, my experience with Veterans United went well. We ran into some issues at the end of the process, but Dan and his team was very accommodating, transparent, and provided great customer service and communication. I would use this company again.
I appreciated everyone and how easy they made the process. I would suggest telling the buyers more about what costs get added with the loan.
Ms Jessica Edward is very helpful and awesome
I was very skeptical in the beginning as the pre-approval process was too easy. I also had outside influences telling me beware you’re not going to be approved a few days before closing as she has seen this before. I kept my guard up. That was my mistake! Matt and his team worked hard to get me approved and closed on time. Outstanding service! My realtor was skeptical with using an out of state lender, he too will be recommended Veterans United to all of his military buyers. Thank you!
Overall the whole process of me buying a house was as stress free as it possibly could be thanks to the help of all the people stated above.
I couldn’t be happier with the team we worked with! The depth of knowledge was vast and if there was gap they sought it out and informed us right away! Great working with Veteran’s United and I would do so again in a heartbeat!
There were some issues with the portal when it repeated 2 questions that I had previously answered. The closing documents did not have my legal name on them and had to be
resent on the day of the closing.
I love the checklists and the fact that your people text back - super convenient!
Greg and Britney were super helpful throughout the process. Buying a home was a very scary though for me for a while, but with the help of a very knowledgeable and friendly team all became little easy steps to get me to the final destination of purchasing a Home. I can't thank you enough for all the time and assistance throughout this process. You really are an Amazing Team.
Appreciate all the efforts and support.
VU dropped the ball with me.
They waited until closing day to inform me that paperwork that should have been in place wasn't.
My wife and I based our move on VU choice of closing day.
Because of VU neglecting my file, my wife and I incurred thousands of extra hotel, BnB cost, pet sitting fees, and car rental cost. The seller of the property also incurred extra moving cost because of a 7 day delay.
I refused to purchase the overpriced house insurance VU was hard selling me and believe that may have been the catalyst for delaying my file.
VU claims the hurricane was the issue,
Sorry but the hurricane was in Florida and the VU people are in Missouri, long ways from Florida.
I dont have any ill will towards your company. My wife and I are going to purchase another home very soon and we will use another mortgage company.
Response from Veterans United
Paul,
We appreciate the feedback. I’m sorry things didn’t go as well as we’d hoped, and especially for the stress it put you through. Our Client Advocates are still just a call or email away if there’s anything else at all we can address for you. Reach out anytime and we’ll see how we can help.
Sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations
I typically don’t write reviews. Nyk went above and beyond. Constantly available, able to answer any questions, he was able to work it out so we literally bought this house with no money down.
Yes in the end we are still paying for it, but, he was able to help us get in. At one point the realtor whom never worked with VA Loans had questions and was able to go Nyk for answers.
Thank you Nyk !!!
