We lost the first house we wanted due to our Loan Officer not telling us everything we needed to know. Did not stay on top of our paper work. Poor communication. Kept sending papers for us to sign that we had already signed and sent back. This was the worst home buying experience we have ever had.
share information received from veteran for processing loan
We started in December of 2012 and finally DID it!!! The loan officer was very helpful. Anytime we needed to ask a question all we had to do was call......and from December up to closing in April there were a lot of phone calls.......................Thank you, Jim and Sue

I have never had such a wonderful experience then with the Veterans United Home Loans family. Everyone associated with this organization are really dedicated to helping veterans like me find the right home, inspect that home, appraise the home, and get you the best mortgage for your home. Some of the people I'd like to thank are;
Pre-Approval Loan Specialist "AMY NEIER" of Veterans United.
Realty Coordinator "AMY GREENWOOD" of Veterans United Realty.
Home Appraisal Specialist "AMANDA DAY" of Veterans United Home Loans.
Insect Inspector "R. SALERA" of Certified Inspectors Inc.
Home Inspector "EDWARD ROMAN" of Accredited Inspections LLC.
Licensed Territory Representative 'ROBERT ROSIN" of Safeco Insurance.
Homeowners Insurance Specialist "KAREN A. KNOWLES" of Safeco and Military United Insurance.
Seller/Realtor "ALEX MOLINSKI" of Coldwell Banker First, Realtors, (very lovely home)
And also the VA Loan: Processing & Underwriting Staff for a job well done.
But I couldn't have done any of this without the help of two people who have become my close friends and advisors in this homwowner adventure;
1) Loan Officer "RYAN CANNON" of Veterans United Home Loans, and
2). Topseller Sales Specialist/Realtor "YVE BANKS" of RE/MAX! in Phila., Pa.
Veterans United Realty has a network of Preferred Realty Agents who are familiar with VA loan requirements and do an exceptional job with buyers like myself, and these two people made a great team, and the entire process took less than two (2) months.
Their moto is;
"YOUR BENEFIT IS OUR MISSION"
Well... I'd like to thank you all for a mission well done.
God Bless... and Please Keep Intouch.

Matt was an excellent Loan Officer. He made the process easy for me and was always quick to answer any questions I had. He definitely earned a perfect score in my book and I will definitely recommend him as well as VU to any fellow veterans.

Working with Veterens United was a very good experience. I have already told a couple of my fellow sailors about the excellent service I received. I enjoyed working with Mr. Cooper and Mr. Holdman. They helped me with this processs tremendously. The realtor they provided me with was an +A. He had a lot experience and made me feel comfortable with every decision I made. I'm very blessed to have this opportunity to buy a house.
I feel that the staff worked hard to ensure that the loan went through smoothly and they were very helpful in numerous situations. Thank you for your hard work, time, and patience.
My loan officer jhon lucus and his crew went above and beyond what I thought would ever become. Everything was done in a timely manner. I enjoyed the up front honesty that himself and his group provided which made the process go quite smooth. Because of my loan officer, I would recommend vu to every vet I know. Wonderful job and thank you for making this experience enjoyable and stress free.
Brandon Crites was wonderful to work with and made our first home buying experience far easier, much less stressful and more pleasant than anticipated. He was always very prompt in returning calls and emails; he was professional, courteous and fun to work with. When we buy our next home, our first option for another VA loan will be with Veterans United and Brandon Crites in particular (if he's still there in 5-10 years).
We highly recommend Veterans United to all veterans seeking to utilize their VA loan.
Great experiance for a first time home buyer! Thank you very much - Jose
My realtor seemed to believe that a few document requirements were outside the norm; however the loan acquisition process was mostly hassle-free.
Ryan Kluttz and his assistant Ben Long did an outstanding job with the processing of my loan. They were both on top of their game and professional at all times, keeping me informed of what was going on throughout the entire process. I have recommended Veteran's United to several of my freinds and military comrads who seek a home loan and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks to all for the hard work put forth in getting me and my family into our new home!!!
Ginny Young went above and beyond for me during the whole process. She is the reason that this process went painless and smoothly. I would recommend you guys to all of my friends and co workers because of the service I recieved from her.
Our loan officer Kevin was unbelievable. Initially we were going with another lender that was recommended to us, 20 days into the process we still didn't have a confirmed approval from the underwriter. I called VU & thank God Kevin answered the call. I explained to him what was going on. Me & my husband had given our leasing office notice that we were moving after we obtained a preapproval & found our home only to find out later it was a prequalification. We went from being ecstatic believing we were about to purchase our first home together to being afraid & frightened we would end up homeless. We didn't know what to do, without knowing we were approved we couldn't sign a lease with a new apt complex & if we didn't sign another lease we would be charged a higher rate for a month to month lease that was significantly higher than what we were paying for our current apartment. To make it worst the leasing office, although we had 3 years of outstanding payment history with them was not being flexible at all. They stated they already rented our apartment so we had to move. It was devastating. Kevin was very comforting & understanding. He stated he would do his best & his best far exceeded any expectation we thought was possible. I was amazed that every time I called he answered or called me back immediately. Our original closing date was March 25th & Kevin got us a valid approval from the underwriter & we closed on our new home March 27th 3 days before we had to vacate our apartment. Tears filled me & my husband eyes feeling overwhelmed because we felt like to Kevin we were not just a number but people that were in a difficult situation due to no fault of our own & we felt he truly wanted to help us & he did. He worked very hard, sometimes staying late. I can't express how grateful I am to Kevin & VUHL for helping me & my husband obtain our dream of homeownership. Kevin turned a nightmare into a realized dream. Thank you Kevin & VU for caring about those who served
Well I wasn't exactly the friendliest when things got hectic but rachel bruce stuck through and answered all of our questions, so thanks for all the help on getting us our new home!
I happened across an ad for VU on the internet and sent in an inquiry. As my good fortune would have it, Luke Thurman, contacted me in short order and explained how the loan process would work. In no time at all I was pre-qualified and on my way to owning a home. Everything from that point on went smoothly.
I could not be happier with the service I received. Your recommendation of our Realtor, Sharon Skinner, was excellent. She is a very capable agent and had us in the "right house" in no time flat. On my first contact with Sharon we discussed my purchasing time line and with the information I had as far as how long the process was, I mentioned that I wanted to have an offer in around mid February and close in early April. As predicted, I had an executed contract on Feb. 14th and we closed on April 3rd. How's that for working the system.
I do not think we could have found a better team to help us buy our home.
Michael and Suzanne Day
Working with our loan agaent was the worst experience i have ever encountered. He never called me or my wife back after leaving messages with him. I had to call him 12 times in a row for him to answer at which point he got angry that i had called that many times. I would recommend VUHL but would never recommend any to woek with the lazy and uneducated loan officer.
