great experience and highly recommend John and his team to anyone.
Chrissy Smith is truly an outstanding professional in your company. It was really a job for me to get this loan but she was there 150% all the way and helped me through some tough times. She is definitely a positive asset to your company and as a member of Doug's team. All people in the home loan field should use her as an example on how to get things done and done correctly
I appreciate all the help & availability of the management team. They were very professional & helpful.
No improvements needed. I have had refis in the past and this one has been the smoothest ever. very professional. It has actually been a pleasure this time around. I would do it all over again. Thank you for all involved
Our Loan Officer Darrick Brown, was EXCELLENT. And the Pipeline Manager, Robin Turner did a wonderful job on our loan process.
Scott Ratliff did an excellent job throughout the seemingly endless process of gathering and sending documents back and forth to support the approval process. There is no question that he and others I worked with at Veterans United understand what great customer service is all about. Thanks again for making my dream house come true.
I was very pleased with Rick Bridgman and his management team. They were very knowledgeable with all aspects of the loan process and I felt that they went above and beyond in getting me through the process of securing my loan.

I woud personally like to thank you for all your great service. Our loan was processed in a very short time and everything went great. I would like to extend a personal thank you to Stefanie Cade. She helped process our loan. Without her expertise and exceptional help our loan would not have been approved. She went above and beyond to help us. She is truly a great asset to your company.
The entire team functioned with excellent professionalism and courtesy.
The team at Veterans United is excellent, they were truly professional. Loan Officer Harris Giger was exceptional in the very professional and personable way he handled my transaction.
I would highly recommend that any vereran seeking a home loan use Veterans United and if possible get Harris Giger as your loan officer.
Winsor had to go the extra step with this one. I work odd hours and we had to get this deal done in a short time frame. Also, while doing this by mostly e-mails. Thank you Winsor for trying to make it as easy as possible. I know i sure didn't help your process.
Thank You for everything. I am a happy Veteran!.
I did feel as though I was having to send a lot of redundant paperwork. This is only the second time I have gone through the home loan process and compared with the first experience Veterans United far exceeded my expectations. You were all very courteous, professional, and helpful in every way.
Ben Muzzy was my loan officer. I have to say that he was a joy to work with. He was incredibly responsive and took the time to make sure I was up to speed at all points during the process. It is 100% because of Ben's great service that I would recommend Vetran's United to friends, family and others.
This is my fourth mortgage, but first using Veterans United, and I only wish I had used them for the first three. The communication process was outstanding and Michelle was completely amazing. I have nothing but praise for Veterans United and would recommend them to any person looking for an honest, fair, smooth, and expedited loan process.
Thanks to Katie, we've had a awesome time buying our new home.. A great home buying experiences . Thanks again, for such a smooth transition Katie is GREAT.. Thanks again...
Veterans United was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Jon McCarty and Jill Lowry made the entire process as smooth and painless as I can imagine. Any questions or concerns that I had were attended to immediately. I was made aware of everything up front, there were no surprises. Everything proceeded exactly as they said it would throughout the process. We were even able to close 4 days early. I will absolutely recommend Veterans United to all of my veteran friends and family. 2 months ago I never would have believed that I would be able to say that going through the process of purchasing this home was pleasant and enjoyable! Thank you Veterans United!
When a customer tells you, you are committing tax fraud and even tells you how to fix it. Might be a good idea to listen. Also when the Escrow Officer tells you the same thing it also might be good to listen. Then even more so when the County Assessors office tells you yet again the same thing you might want to change what you are doing. I was good up till I found the taxes were being configured wrong. All above told her this as well as myself. The problem was she insisted the taxes on the property had to be listed as non-homestead on the paperwork, this was not the case as the property was already homesteaded and would remain so and be transferred to myself once the loan was closed. After the yelling fit my loan officer got into with me and I called to verify all these people told her the same thing I called back and told her what she was doing was a direct violation of Michigan RESPA she still didn't want to change it to the way it should of been. I had to threaten cancelling to whole deal before she would change the paperwork to reflect the right information, then required me to sign an affidated saying if the taxes were non-homesteaded then I would be responsible for it. If I would have let the paperwork go through the way they were your company would have taken about 800.00 dollars more from the sellers then was supposed too which would of been grounds for them to take your company to court over. I was trying to help you in that aspect, also it made my monthly payment reflect over 140.00 more a month I would have to pay. I was very disappointed after all the info I gave explaining it she still wouldn't do it the right way. My realtor which works with your company all the time has never had the taxes be an issue before she didn't understand why she made it such an issue either.
Our experience with you as our loan officer was very good. When you contacted us on the 6th of March, everthing went very smooth. We appreciate your help with everthing and we would recommend you and your organization to anyone needing help with a home loan. We thank you very much!!!!

Jessica Fischer was absolutely awesome to work with, she displays a great amount of knowledge and interest in her job and her performance. She understands all the emotions that go along with buying a home and was sensitive in those areas. I have purchased several homes in my past and this one was clearly the smoothest and lest stressful of them all. I think Jess should be president of the company, my hat goes off to her
I am very pleased to have refinanced with Veteran's United. One issue I discussed with my loan officer that irritated me was the adding of $451.94 on the second Truth In Lending paperwork without going over with me what this was all about. I did NOT see it in the first TIL paperwork emailed and sent to me, and when I received the 2nd one, I compared the two, and saw that (fee) added in to the 2nd one. And paperwork I read later stated that the fee was for getting a loan at 3.25% APR. That was never discussed up front that I was paying a "fee". My loan officer told me, after I called to inquire about it, that it was because the rates had gone up a little, and that to qualify for that same rate, the fee was necessary. Well, as I stated in my first input above, better communication would help out a lot for someone requesting the loan, so they would not feel that the lender is 'sticking' additional charges in the paperwork, as some people don't read all of that. There was very little communication during the process of the loan, other than an email here and there requesting additional items. I know it's not easy with the distance between the two parties, but when things like "discount fee" is added into a 2nd TIL when you don't see it on the first one, that's a red flag for someone like myself, wondering why that was put in there. Other than that, I am happy with the process, and glad that I was able to get a VA Loan with a better APR than the one I previously had. Thank you for all you have done! Ron
