I felt well informed from my initial conversation with her months prior to the purchase to all the calls, texts and emails leading up to our closing. This was my wife and I first home purchase and were completely satisfied with our experience. There were a few hiccups, however; the expedient resolutions is what got this deal done. Underwriting seemed obsessed with poking holes in solutions. Poor communication on most things. Did not seem to have a firm grasp on how to do business in NY. Closed a month late due to nonsense.

Look. This was my first time buying a house, and if I had to have gone it alone, I would have quit about 4.2 days into the process. VU and team handled 92.7% of the heavy lifting, and I still found time to whine about the little bit I had to do. I can't imagine all the shenanigans that go on behind the scenes to make this magic happen, but damn if y'all don't make it look easy. No regrets, all positive, would go beyond "recommend" all the way to "The only reason to use anyone but VU is that you love suffering in agony while your friends laugh at your bad decision." Those are the facts. You have no excuses. Use this team.
