VU did everything possible to make this process painless, unfortunately the VA Appraiser was just the opposite. My closing date got set back a few time adding an extra month of waiting due to an incompetent Appraiser holding on to his report and adding EXTRA parcels of land to the appraisal.
I understand the appraiser is NOT part of VU, if he was I would have given a big fat zero stars.
Using Veterans United made home buying easy! Their team worked hard to get me to my closing day on time. They went above and beyond with all the hurdles that were needed to go over, making my job super easy. Having an agent assigned to me through VU made me feel at ease knowing she was one of the best in the area and knew how the VA loan worked. I'm very happy I chose VU and would recommend it to anyone looking to use the VA loan.
