I Originally started off with Jason Bals, A Loan officer lic. In Maryland. He was very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable when I asked him questions. He honestly in so many words spoke to me with sarcasm and made me feel foolish for asking question with being a first time homeowner, etc. He wasn’t very informational and I felt like he was being very intentional about his deceit going into the Loan process. He didn’t explain the Interest rates or how a mortgage would look financially for us. I felt literally like a number and a customer he was trying to hurry and close regardless of our families best financial interest. I started to shop around for other lenders due to my experience with him. Until my husband and I decided to move to another state. Louisiana. When we transferred states we were luckily able to get a new Loan Officer. Aaron Madrid, We have a totally new perspective on Veterans United as a whole. He was a complete change and breath of fresh air for our family. He was very informative, very transparent. We felt he had our families best interest in mind. He was always available for any questions we had and never made feel naive for asking them. He was able to problem solve throughout the minor hiccups during our process and honestly I wouldn’t recommend anyone else BUT HIM. He is the ONLY reason I didn’t switch lenders. I would definitely say that Aaron is an ultimate expert at his craft and VA home loans struck gold with him. Honestly he is a huge part of something big our family did with making a step towards home ownership, we will never forget him.

At first, I felt overwhelmed by having three people contacting me all at once but then the idea grew on me because I realized I had a whole team of people looking out for me. It was an amazing experience, especially for my first time as a homeowner. Thank you to everyone that played a part at the Veterans United family.
