I've heard horror stories from realtors and veterans across the nation regarding difficulties with VA loans; foremost the demands of VA loans. I've had nothing but the opposite experiences with Veterans United. The "demands" were nothing more than common sensical requests that have varied state to state.

This experience was a lot easier than we though it would be, we felt very cared for, met our needs above and beyond expectations, and I greatly appreciated the help with setting up utilities.

Harry was truly wonderful!!! I would choose him again and again!!

Veterans United is by far the best group of people you will ever have on your side from the beginning till closing they made this so easy for me if I had any question they were on it with answers and suggestions if I asked. They looked out for me and my interest and made it so easy. I've bought 2 houses previously and it was somewhat stressful at times with everything a new homeowner has to do from documents I provided to insurance companies to settings up cable an internet and they made it so easy with everything right there in my face and instructing me on how to do it with apps on my phone I never had to leave my house are worry about anything the information was there and a person from my team on the phone helping with anyquestions I had.this group of people are professionals at there jobs and care about their clients. It's almost like a good friend was with me and I trusted them to take care of us and they were there. If ever I buy another house they will be on side 💯 % of the way. Thanks Veterans United and the team of friends who made it possible with such ease.
PS: not to mention the money they saved me. THOUSANDS

Veterans United was recommended to me. I loved working with them. I would definitely recommend Veterans United to friends and family.

I can highly recommend (with only one caveat) Veteran's United to any veteran in the market for a home and wanting to use their VA Home benefits.Forget the commercial realtors who *will* treat you like a second-class citizen. Let VU pick a realtor in your area who is knowledgeable in VA loans. There is a lot of extra work involved in getting a VA loan, and most commercial agents simply don't want to do the extra work involved. Also forget the plethora of other financing options that are available. Unless you are already "rich" enough to get prime banking services, then you will be absolutely inundated with every nickel-and-dime financing company out there once the news of your first credit-check hits any of the big three credit reporting agencies. That's how they make their money after all -- selling information about *you* to everyone -- and it's just too much of a hassle to opt out unless you've got all the time in the world.VU offers multiple services, the primary two being finance-brokering and realtor-affiliate vetting. They're pretty good at both. They have better-than-average finance-brokers who will be able to beat your bank -- if only for the reason that the VA is backing the loan.Where VU shines, in my opinion, is in their broker-affiliate program. They are able to pick brokers who are well-versed in VA loans and who have at least passed something a little higher than a standard real-estate exam in terms of working with VA loan buyers and sellers. They're still realtors, but they at least have a vetting process that will pick out the ones that are willing to help veterans use their VA loan benefits and understand the process.Of course, YMMV, but in our experience, we were assigned (?) a broker in our area who was very patient and understood our needs. We were buying a house in a market that was already a dumpster-fire, but our realtor was great. We weren't the easiest clients, either. Strike one, which anyone seeking to use VA loan benefits will soon realize, is just the fact that you're using VA loan benefits and not going for traditional financing. There are a lot of regulations involved and many, if not most, real estate agents and agencies look at VA loan buyers the same way Superman looks at Kryptonite. To add insult to injury, those same brokers will go to great lengths to have the *appearance* that they are "veteran friendly" with a phony Photoshop smile.Veterans United is a business, so don't expect to get the absolute best of everything possible. If I have one small nit to pick, then it would be what they call their "concierge service". It could use a makeover. The employees are great, but the "services" they recommended to us were of lower quality than you'd find in one of those weekly "Val-Paks" that occupy the seventh level of junk mail. Abysmally bad. But that's one service out of the others, and the rest of what VU offers is pretty good. Could you do better on your own? Certainly, but do you want to do all that footwork yourself? If you're a masochist, then have fun saving the extra 2-3 percent you'll get by making it a DIY affair. But for those of us who don't want to put in the footwork to find the absolute best bargains and deals available, they're probably the best option. The world of real-estate and financing is filled with unethical vermin -- ones who lurk near the shadows waiting for the easy prey like hungry jackals waiting to spring. VU can help you navigate that cesspool that is the real-estate industry like Ryan Reynolds making sure that Samuel L. Jackson gets to the Hague in the nick of time. Now, this is coming from a veteran whose own father was a used-car salesman and even a real-estate agent at one point. I'm not saying my dad was not an upstanding salesman, in fact he was decent to those who deserved decency and stuck it to those who didn't. He was a person with heart in a heartless (mostly) business. Sure, that's kind of a back-handed compliment, and it's like saying, "This snake is the least toxic of all the venomous snakes." But if you're in a pit of snakes already, and you *know* you're going to get bitten, which would you choose?VU is like that. They're great at helping veterans -- because veterans are their only customers.Given all the vitriol that I just heaped upon the real-estate industry and the home-financing industry, I want to make one distinct separation. I'm talking about organizations and not individuals. There are many great people who are out there who are genuinely willing to help veterans and doing the best they can by those veterans, those who understand the sacrifices that veterans make, and see them as real humans with real needs. The people we worked with at VU are real people, and we had a great experience with everyone on the team. To a person, they were great and treated us with respect and dignity. They helped us more than we expected and we highly recommend them -- for the people who work there.Overall, they're a business I am happy to recommend.

Quick, fast and easy process! They have this down to a science! From the top down everyone was on top of it even when one person was away there was always someone else ready to help.

As a veteran, I appreciate companies that share a business model of assisting those of us that served our nation. Unfortunately, not all companies are successful in their approach. Some tend to revert back to just being an organization that bombards you with endless marketing ploys and constant calls while you are working to provide for your family.
Veterans United was not only an exceptional experience for me during the stress of home buying, but I truly wish other companies, no matter their industry, took a page out of VU's approach when it comes to Customer Service.
Eternally grateful for my Team at VU. They were phenomenal to say the least..

The team at VU made the home buying process a breeze. As first time homebuyers, we were nervous about what to expect. Out VU team quickly made us feel confident and were patient and responsive throughout. They even managed to get us a refund at closing. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be using VU for our future home lending needs.

We had a great experience. Would highly recommend using them and will use them again if we buy another home in the future. Aaron Hays is amazing to work with.

Veteran's United is best way to go if you are a veteran looking to buy or refinance a home. Great team work.

I'm a first time home buyer, and all the experiences that friends and family have had with their own home buying have always been borderline nightmarish, so I didn't know what to expect going into this process. Veterans United made this experience so amazing! Everything was smooth and the team was knowledgeable and efficient. They always had the answers and the best customer service making this process a wonderful experience. Will never stop recommending Veterans United!

Veterans United did an outstanding job guiding my family and I through buying our first home. I highly recommend them because of their unmatched support and dependability.

Great team great work love to see it

Everyone was so prompt and on top of everything. All of my questions were answered and everyone was very knowledgeable. A huge thank you to everyone on the team you all were absolutely fantastic! :)

I would highly recommend working with Veterans United. Rick Bridgman, Kayla Rice and the entire Veterans United team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable going above and beyond with what was expected. The experience was smooth and easy.

My loan experience with VU was excellent and all I could ask for. We are enjoying our new home and were able to close almost two weeks early. Thanks so much.
