While I understand there are a lot of moving parts with buying a home, there were a lot of people to keep track of and at times it was frustrating. There were occasions where it seemed like they had too many projects to keep track of. But once everyone was in the same page things did begin to move smoothly. I would have liked some sort of list of all the up front costs. As a new homebuyer I did not know what to expect and it seemed like there were a lot of surprise costs along the way. Looking back they were all valid and needed, I just wasn’t aware from the beginning.
Matt and his team were always there to calm the fears of a first-time home buyer. We chose Veterans United over all the local options and I'm glad we did. Although the mountain of paperwork was sometimes intimidating, it was easy to upload the necessary paperwork to the site and get this process completed. I wish to thank Matt and his team. Drew Tillman was fantastic!(even tho he’s a Chiefs fan) he went above and behind to get my loan done. He worked past his normal working hours to ensure my questions were answered and documents were sent it. Dawn was fantastic as well! She helped calm my nerves and anxiety through the entire process.
