The underwriter was inefficient as they went through my job offer/contract. Each day she would ask for something and I would provide it only to have amplifying questions the next day despite me requesting if she required anything specific to help ease the process along, this delayed my ability to get clear to close numbers and caused hassle to my entire home buying team.Again Hank, Sarah and Jodie were phenomenal and kind in carrying out this loan! Huge thank you to all of them!
This was my first home-buying experience and everyone was absolutely patient and kind to me. When my parents and I had the most questions they would figure out the Amin a timely manner I can’t thank Ryan, Anna-Lisa, and Audrey enough!
Overall I found working with VU to be extremely unorganized. Too many people to work with and there were many times I had asked if the team had everything they needed to close and they said yes, then items kept getting added to my “to-do” list even up to hours before closing. I never once felt like everything was good to close.
I came to VU with a past bankruptcy. I first came in November 2022 but Brad told me I had to wait until January and he would contact me. In the meantime, he set me up with a credit team that helped me build my score up as much as possible to get a better interest rate. True to his word, Brad called me in January. I found the perfect home in February and closed on April 12th. Even after I got upset and pulled out at the last minute. I called Brad back and apologized and he restarted my application and expedited it so the seller wouldn't pull out. We're now in our brand new home. I have my dream woodworking shop in the back yard. I am so thankful to Brad and the entire VU team. He was true to his word. He has honesty and integrity which is rare now days. I salute you Brad. Thank you.
