Home buying is a difficult process, and as a first time buyer, I had no clue what I was in for. Veteran’s United made the process so easy for me. I never felt pressured, all of my questions were addressed and answered and they literally walked me through everything. I could not have ever done this on my own. I would recommend this program to any Vet looking to buy. I basically Just followed their “orders” and everything was a success!!
I was weary of Veterans United from other reviews and my own past experience, but I gave them a chance, and boy I’m glad I did. Stephanie Hoffman is definitely someone you want to have on your side. She made the impossible happen and now we are enjoying our new home.

I honestly have one recommendation, and it’s that when giving a price on an estimated insurance or what have you be that it be more clear and up-to-date. I know the system that y’all use tells you estimate of what the insurance would be like, but for the place that I was buying, the actual price of the insurance was almost 3 times as much. Aside from that, everything else went smoothly.

I have worked with Chris Hill for 3 loans the last 4 years. On each loan for 3 different homes we purchased Chris was outstanding!!!! A 10, 10, 10 in every aspect.
He is exceptional to work with, very educated in his field, professional, personable and always has a minute to answer any questions. Every voicemail was returned promptly.In the last 6 months I have worked with John Wilson (Chris Hill's assistant) He was exceptional, patient, professional and so easy to work with. He was very detailed oriented and stayed on top of the loan every minute! I cannot thank him enough. Everyone should have a work ethic like John Hill.I will miss the repoire I had with both of them.

Wow what can I say …. We had a deal with another company (3 months in and 2 days before closing fall through) not only did Chris Draffen save the day but his incredible team … Landon Franklin and Jenny were absolutely amazing to deal with ! Super responsive , professional and turned a nightmare experience with another company into a dream come true with VU . From our application to cleared to close in under 3 weeks!! Things were smooth until Underwriting started. Things got missed and jumbled up.
