There's no doubt that I had the best experience no doubt about it.

As a previous homeowner that used Veteran’s United in the past, the service provided for my new house was simple: a VA loan assumption. I had a positive experience previously with VU and felt good about using them again. However, from the beginning several stark differences presented themselves that led to a disappointing home buying experience. Communication, or lack thereof, was the biggest with a LOT of miscommunication or no communication at all between the two loan officers and myself. I gave responses and submitted paperwork updating the to-do list in a timely manner and wasn’t given the same courtesy. When mistakes were made or lack of attention to what needed to be accomplished before closing happened on the VU side, blame was put on the buyer and seller and no apologies were issued. Those details ended up in a delayed closing of two weeks, which could have been easily preventable. I was also thrown new policies that were put in place with no explanation or break down of what they entail (premium on home insurance being one). Terrible customer service overall and am now walking away from this experience with a bad taste in my mouth of Veteran’s United and the services they offer.

I am so very happy I decided to work with Veterans United for my VA loan. We had a very particular situation and I don't think anyone else would have been as helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding of the situation. We had to work through a defaulted student loan situation with my wife and I that was NOT EASY!!! But Veterans United stuck with us and now we are in our life changing house now! Especially our loan coordinator, Sara. With her we would not be in our new house today. It was such a new and confusing situation with the fresh start program but Sara and Tyler helped us battle through to the finish line! Now we are so happy I could not praise or recommend Veterans United more! Our team was so understanding and helpful that this whole thing would not have happened without them. Lets just say we tried a few places first that are supposed to be "veteran friendly" & "the best at VA loans" but would not even really look at us. They rhyme with Wavy fled, shmocket lortgage, and one with Gronk. Veterans United did not give up on us. They understood the situation and worked with us to fix the issue. Mortgages are very rare (at least for me) but I will always come back to Veterans United and recommend them to all vets!! Thank you Sara, Tyler, and Allie for everything. Ryan and his team were great. This was my first home purchase and it was far from a pain. I'll definitely be using Ryan as a lender for my future home purchases.


Everyone was absolutely wonderful to work with. This journey has been a pleasure! Paul dealt with all my stupid questions, sometimes even after hours.
