This is not our first VA home loan, but it was our first VA home loan through Veterans United and it was a game changer. Veterans United was incredibly easy to work with, from pre-approval to closing. They were always reachable and incredibly kind and patient answering our questions and walking us through the home-buying process. 10/10 recommend Veterans United.

Most of the experience was acceptable. However, when I rejected the offer to link my bank account to veterans united the friendliness went away. Monika and Zane both were trying hard to push me to link my accounts, even though I clearly communicated my stance. As the days went on i asked for specific information they needed from me, but revolved around linking the accounts again. Finally Zane provided me a list of documents he needed from me, i sent those in, and it was complete. Veterans united needs to find a better way or provide customers options for getting bank balance information. The last few interactions with the team as we closed in with underwriters really turned upsidedown my experience with veterans united.
While everyone I worked with was nice I would not be able to recommend using Veterans United to anyone else due to the issues that we had.
