Without a doubt buying a home has been a dream of mine since I found out I couldn't do what I wanted with my parents house at age 5! All I wanted to do was paint the house red and blue! But my dad said "when I own a home I can paint it whatever color I want." This stuck with me throughout my whole life. When I joined the military I got the golden ticket to home ownership. In this day and age it is much harder and expensive to purchase a home. My family members, all 5+ years older than me, either couldn't afford to buy or took years to get the financials right for home ownership. This year I got out the military and started my journey as a civilian. Everything felt wrong and I didn't feel like I belonged. But, the second I got in touch with Veterans Untied and Mr Joel... well everything felt like home. No, this process wasn't like the military, but I felt like I was dealing with people who cared, understood, and loved me without knowing me. The closest example I can give is a father figure that is not your dad. Someone that simultaneously understands your anxiety and chooses to assist with it. I know as a combat vet I shouldn't need anyone holding my hand, but darn it... it sure felt great to have my hand held through this process. If anyone I know is considering using their VA Homeloan I cannot suggest Veterans United enough!! As long as you get them the paper work they will move mountains! Every resource offered to you isn't offered in a way you can't understand it. It's offered in the perfect way. You aren't bombarded with extra details and services. You naturally through the process have them offered to you and that is extremely accessible to Veterans. I appreciate that more than anything. My rating for Veterans United is 101%!
