I've gone through the process with both USAA and VU now and I can say the VU had the more personal touch. Especially with USAA getting rid of a lot of the home buying services they once had. From my foxhole, VU is the right choice for the Veteran Home Buyer. The entire process is so much easier knowing VU has your six.
