Everyone was awesome except the young lady who offered me the homeowners insurance. She gave me a great price but apparently she didn’t do her due diligence because when I called her and said OK, let’s go with it she said the insurance company will not cover the house because it’s too close to the coast, I think she should’ve done a better job before offering me homeowners insurance and because of that that’s the reason why did not decide to go and get a security system from y’all or anything else so that’s pretty much it

I really can’t say enough great things about Hank, Drew, Rafael, Parker and the rest of the team. They made this buying extremely easy seen as how I was in New York and the house I was buying was in Florida. They were always extremely helpful and attentive during the whole process. I'm not easily impressed; I was impressed with VU. I've personally purchased several properties requiring mortgages as well as working with mortgage companies with my real estate clients (I was a realtor) over the years. VU superseded all those companies with their excellent customer service. I would recommend any veteran looking to buy property contact VU. They even have resources in place to help those with the desire to purchase, but aren't quite ready yet, due to credit issues. You can expect to experience a smooth transaction. VU is the best.
Overall a great experience could I have shopped around yes but with the level of knowledge and the know how it was another less painless than I thought it was going to be

Only thing I would recommend is not waiting until last minute to get final docs into the underwriter and the title agency. Other than that the process was great and we are enjoying our new home. Highly recommend.
The customer (in my experience) will only provide the documents requested and may not know that retirement accounts may also be considered by the under writers for leverage.Overall I am a satisfied customer and look fwd to our next endeavor.Special shout-out to Jared Zahn!
