joe and his team answered all of our questions and more. If we needed anything they were right there with a helping hand. If anyone ever want the talk to a loan officer Joe and his team are the ones that you want to talk to.
Veterans United was certainly interested in making sure we could get the home we wanted and could afford. The process is tedious but they were there all the way. They were responsive and they respected us and our wishes. We are very happy with the house we bought. Very excited actually. There are other banks and loan officers that are very dedicated and helpful but the difference with Veterans United is the number of team members working together to get you what you are striving for. Other loan officers work almost by themselves with maybe a secretary or 2 helping but VU has numerous people working for you. Each with their own special skills.
Overall very satisfied with the services. Everyone was pretty much on top of things. Signing electronically was also a plus. Actual title company was frustrating at the end with my closing documents changing daily but they got it together in the end. I would recommend and use them again!
Everyone was very friendly and professional. They were open and helpful and seemed very motivated to meet all of my needs. They made our first time home buy smooth and worry free.

Everyone I worked with was very professional and helpful.
I do like that a lot of the process was streamlined. I was able to compare lender rates with a friend who was also home buying at the same time. Despite his credit score which was destroyed post divorce, he scored a rate at almost a point lower on a house $100,000 less in the San Antonio area. Happy to have gotten the house, mildly disappointed with the rate.
