I was impressed by their involvement and help with the loan process. I had many questions which were answered quickly and efficiently. Would recommend to family and friends.
I am so glad we are done and finally closed on our home!!! They are by far, the worst lenders we have EVER dealt with. We didn't close as scheduled because they do not communicate with you until the day prior to the date of closing. They are non communicative and very inconsistent with their estimation. At first, they will seem very appealing by being competitive with the other lenders. However, every time we request an updated estimate, they increase the closing costs by $5K. Plus, every time we ask a question, they respond avoiding the question being asked. In addition, the team clearly do not communicate with each other, nor do they check the documents uploaded in their website. They waited 8 days prior to closing requesting additional information and verification that should have been addressed in the beginning. Additionally, they lied stating we should have them start the process and we will be able to switch lenders later. However, that wasn't the case because we would have lost our earnest money and be penalized for not closing as scheduled. If we had known better, we would have gone another direction for a lender. We will complete our one year with them and then look for another lender. I wished I had known about loan depot prior to VU's commercialized advertisement. Talk about taking care of our veterans, the whole process with them should suffice as a disability rating. As a previous employee of the VA, they really do not help us veterans and I would not recommend them.
