The entire team guided me step by step to the finish line and they all are extremely patient. They showed passion for my concerns and kept me calm when I was feeling overwhelmed.

Highly impressed throughout my entire loan process. The most competitive interest rate that I could find, and probably the best service I could ask for. The team that worked on my loan handled everything in a timely manner, and ensured all issues that arose were handled efficiently and promptly.

ABSOLUTELY TOP-TIER — WORLD-CLASS EXPERIENCE
VETERANS UNITED HOME LOANS IS IN A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN
TRUSTWORTHY • MILITARY FRIENDLY • UNMATCHED IN SERVICEWords can’t fully capture the experience my family and I had with Veterans United Home Loans — it was nothing short of world-class from beginning to end. As an active-duty service member who has relocated and purchased homes across the country, I can confidently say this was the most exceptional experience I’ve ever had with any company, in any industry. From the first call to closing day, every member of the Veterans United team demonstrated unparalleled professionalism, deep military understanding, and genuine care. My loan officer, Juliana Eckles, went above and beyond — not just with the loan process, but in how they treated us as people. In the middle of our homebuying journey, our family tragically lost our beloved dog — a loyal companion who had been with us through multiple PCS moves and deployments. It was a deeply emotional time, and honestly, it could have derailed the entire process. But the team at Veterans United showed up in a way I’ll never forget. They paused, checked on us not as clients but as a grieving military family, and ensured everything moved forward without adding a single ounce of stress to our lives. They sent messages of support, gave us space to breathe, and handled the details with care. That level of empathy and humanity is something you simply don’t find often — especially in business.Veterans United isn’t just a mortgage company — it’s a team of mission-driven professionals who treat veterans and military families like their own. They understand our lives, our challenges, and what it means to serve. They’ve set the standard for how service members should be treated in every industry. If you are a veteran or active-duty member looking to buy a home, do not look anywhere else. Veterans United is the best of the best — globally, unquestionably, and without equal. They didn’t just help us buy a house — they helped us feel at home, even before we moved in.— Shoe Crew (Dave + Chelsea Shoebottom)

Veterans United came through with flying colors when other banks were nitpicking small stuff that was not truly relevant. I appreciate the gifts and will put them to good use. The through was used on the flight to West Virginia during a sleepless night in the airport floor, so thank you for that warmth provided there. Thanks for your support to get things done in a timely manner as well. Good group of hard-working people. Much appreciated by my wife and myself.

Very smooth process and the Veteran’s United team was very accessible and accommodating!

Fantastic company to enjoy the process of buying a home with. Sam Yoo and Ryan Bogart are very personable and understand the stress of buying and its process. Day or night, early or late, they were there to answer even the stupidest questions. Very, very happy with Sam and Ryan, and after several attempts (over 14 months) to buy a home with failure, they stuck with me. Finally.....success. Thank you

Service is great and timely

As first time home buyers, the entire VU team made the entire process very easy, and they were always available to answer all of our questions. Finally, we received the most thoughtful congratulations package from them after closing was finished! 10/10 would recommend!

The entire mortgage process was simple and straightforward. They provided excellent support and transparency so that I knew what was going on during every step, from pre-approval to closing.

Unfortunately the purpose of my refinance was to repair problems in my home. I had to make the repairs prior to closing and only was able to do so because my son loaned me money. I was told things then told something different several times. Communication could have been better.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Craig,
I'm really sorry to hear how difficult this refinance ended up being for you. I can only imagine how stressful it must’ve felt to need those home repairs done right away—and then be told they had to be completed before closing. Having to lean on your son to make that happen speaks volumes about the pressure you were under, and it’s not something we take lightly.
It sounds like the communication throughout the process was inconsistent at best, and that’s on us. You deserved clearer guidance and fewer surprises, especially when it came to something as important as your home and your finances.
If you’re open to it, our Client Advocate team would really appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened. You can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We're in the office Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, but feel free to reach out anytime.

I have told a few friends already and will tell more as I come across them this is a good team
