Highly recommend Veterans United for the home buying process! They were with me every step and had no problem explaining everything. Long story short, was supposed to close on one house but had to rescind the offer and start the shopping process all over again. The whole team kept checking on me and were very supportive through the whole ordeal.
On the Monterey side of things that was promise to me I did not get and nothing was explain to me

Lake of communication, missed target closing date that was planned out 30 days. Last minute push to get information and documents was extremely stressful.
VU had a very personalized and local approach to our home loan. They know the area well and are familiar with the laws and policies that a larger lender might miss. Their website and documentation system is very simple. We were informed every step of the way.
