Easy, streamlined process. Almost entirely conducted online.

You never really know how what being a victim of something is like until it happens to you. When undergoing this process I feel I was continuously ignored by my home team this entire home buying process. There was little to no communication during the month of June when I was going to be in port (I am active duty navy transferring in the upcoming months after deployment). When July came and I communicated that we were going underway and would be out of communication range I was flooded with emails and documents to sign even though I expressed I would have no means of doing anything home buying related while I was gone. It was not suggested to me to get a POA or give my POA bank account/personal document access. I tried being communicative as possible and after a certain point my realtor asked to be cc’d on all emails to prove I was providing documents that they said were missing from my file. I think that the amount of oversight that I got from my home loan team was disgusting. My POA would login having never operated the website and easily find documents that were “missing”. I feel that’s rudimentary skills for being a home loan officer. The team I was given was sorry.I would never suggest Veterans United to anyone. I feel I was discriminated against as a black women trying to buy a home in a nice area. When I brought a home before it was in a redline district. And my loan process was literally flawless. I had a new born and a toddler at home and was not stressed at all. But while trying to deploy and while using a veteran company I experienced the biggest headache.
